Welcome to JPT’s UNICEF Club!

Here, students work to secure better futures for youth around the world in partnership with the U.S. Fund for UNICEF and a network of student clubs.

UNICEF (United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund) was founded by the United Nations in an effort to protect children.  UNICEF works to deliver aid to youth in need by providing access to clean water, school supplies, vaccinations, food stuffs, medical resources, education, and by advocating for children’s rights.  Collectively behind UNICEF’s goals, there is a network of officially registered high school clubs across the nation and for the 2018-2019 school year, J.P. Taravella officially joined the movement.  In this club, the work students put in through advocating, educating, and fundraising revolves around a global change. This club gives students a unique chance to be involved in international humanitarian issues.
